Late Bloomer Flower Shoppe

Building a Floral Brand
with Roots and Reach

Branding / Web Design & Development / SEO / Digital Advertising

01 / The Challenge

Late Bloomer Flower Shoppe brought a fresh take on florals to downtown Panama City with eclectic gifts, creative classes, and a one-of-a-kind bouquet bar. To match that energy, they needed a brand and digital presence that could grow right alongside them.

Late Bloomer’s charm was undeniable, but its brand and website lacked the polish to support growth. The Squarespace site was limiting, and in a market crowded with generic, wire-service florists, the shop needed to stand out as something more. The task? Build a brand and presence strong enough to scale while capturing the creativity that set Late Bloomer apart.

02 / Logo & Brand Identity

We started from the ground up to give Late Bloomer an identity as distinct as its story. Two logo concepts stood out: one delicate and organic, framed in an oval for use across packaging and signage, and another elegant monogram that felt polished yet approachable. Lauren loved them both, so we established one as the primary and the other as a secondary. Paired with a “Golden Hour” color palette of warm, airy tones that shift easily from spring to fall, the result was a brand system that felt flexible, modern, and unmistakably hers.

03 / Web Design & Development

Moving Late Bloomer to Shopify gave us the flexibility to design a site that was as functional as it was beautiful. We built custom ordering flows that made it simple to select colors, styles, or a designer’s choice with personal notes, while scheduling tools ensured deliveries only happened on open days. Every detail was shaped to feel seamless for the customer, all while carrying through the light, airy “Golden Hour” aesthetic that defined the brand.

04 / SEO & Content

Our SEO strategy for Late Bloomer turned flowers into stories. Seasonal arrangement pages featured “Get to Know Your Flowers” sections that explained each bloom’s meaning, giving the shop an edge over generic competitors. We built dedicated pages for unique services like the Flower Bar and Honey Bee Trailer, and optimized wedding content to capture searches for bouquets, boutonnieres, and cake flowers.

05 / Marketing & Outreach

To carry the refreshed brand into the world, we designed a package of print collateral that included business cards, rack cards, and ads for the local visitors’ guide. Each piece carried through their signature look, making the shop instantly recognizable both in-store and around town. On the digital side, we supported the launch with a light run of Google Ads, targeting local searches and competitor audiences while laying the groundwork for seasonal campaigns.

06 / The Results

Late Bloomer’s refreshed brand and website made a real difference while the shop was open. Online orders became easy to manage through the new Shopify site, and engagement improved across the board with customers spending more time on pages and interacting with seasonal offerings. SEO and content updates boosted visibility in search, helping clicks and impressions climb steadily. In short, the shop’s presence grew stronger both online and in-store, giving Late Bloomer the tools it needed to thrive during its time downtown.
