01 / The Challenge
NaJu Pets has been caring for animals in Panama City since 1975. With 13,000 square feet of space, a 2.5-acre private dog park, a splash pad, mobile grooming vans, and even a pet shuttle, they offered more than almost any competitor in the area. But online, none of that came through
Their website needed a full overhaul. Search results weren’t working in their favor. They had no paid advertising at all. And the competition was growing fast, with new facilities opening across Panama City and the beaches. They knew the business was strong. They just needed the digital side to match.
02 / Our Strategy
Two Service Models, One Recognizable Bran
NaJu Pets operates two distinct sides of the business: the resort (boarding, daycare, grooming, and the dog park) and a mobile grooming service that goes directly to customers. We developed service-line branding beneath the existing NaJu Pets mark, giving each arm its own identity with “Resort & Salon” and “Mobile Grooming” treatments while keeping the playful dog head icon and signature green-and-blue palette consistent across both.
03 / Website Design & Dev
A Site as Dynamic as the Business
The previous site didn’t reflect the energy or range of what NaJu Pets actually offers. We designed a custom homepage with video, clear service sections, and easy paths to call, text, or book. Sidebars throughout the site keep related services visible so visitors can explore boarding, grooming, and daycare without getting lost.
We built out individual pages for each service, complete with pricing, what’s included, and the kind of detail that helps someone choose NaJu over the place down the road. The site also integrates with their booking app and features a blog designed to drive organic traffic back to service pages.
04 / SEO
Showing Up First When It Matters Most
When NaJu Pets came to us, they weren’t ranking well for much of anything. We built an SEO strategy around their full range of services: boarding, daycare, mobile grooming, cat boarding, and their unique pet shuttle.
On the local side, we optimized two separate Google Business Profiles (the resort and the mobile grooming service), cleaned up directory listings, and built authority through backlink outreach to local news coverage and pet directories.
On-site, we developed a blog strategy focused on the questions pet owners are already searching: how hot is too hot for dogs, how often to bathe your dog, cold weather safety. These posts consistently drive new visitors to the site and create natural links back to service pages.
The results speak for themselves. NaJu Pets now ranks #1 for “dog shuttle service” and “dog daycare with transportation near me,” and landed position #3 for “cat boarding,” a keyword with 24,000 monthly searches. Organic traffic is up 171% year over year.
05 / Paid Advertising
From Zero Campaigns to Full Funnel
NaJu Pets had never run paid ads before working with us. We built the entire program from scratch, starting with a geofencing campaign that targeted local vet clinics, pet stores, and competitor locations with display ads. At the same time, we launched a Google Performance Max campaign focused on grooming, boarding, and daycare searches.
From there, we added Facebook carousel ads showcasing each service, seasonal campaigns timed to every major travel and holiday period, and programmatic display with foot traffic measurement to connect ad impressions to actual visits. Year-round, NaJu Pets stays visible whether someone is planning a spring break trip, booking holiday boarding, or just searching for a groomer on a Tuesday.
Ad conversions are up 57% year over year across Google and Facebook combined.
06 / The Results
What started as a business with no digital advertising and weak search visibility has become one of the most findable pet care brands in Panama City.
Year over year, NaJu Pets has seen a 46% increase in overall site sessions, 171% growth in organic traffic, a 70% improvement in average search ranking position, and a 57% jump in paid ad conversions. Google Business Profile activity is up 12%, and social following has grown 21% across Facebook and Instagram. More people are finding them, more people are visiting, and the business continues to grow.
